We would like to cordially invite you to join us in the final event of the Mediterranean practitioners' network capacity building for effective response to emerging security challenges (MEDEA), which will take place in Athens, Greece on the 30th and 31st October, 2023. The event will be supported by the IFAFRI forum and will address the topic of "Current and Foreseen Security Operations: Challenges and Capability Gaps". We look forward to seeing you in Athens!
During the first day of the event the focus will be placed on the project's final results and outcomes, while during the second day, a marketplace will be launched showcasing technological solutions ready to use in different security operations.
The event targets practitioners, policy makers, and the industry related to the four following categories:
- "Management of Migration Flows and Asylum seekers"
- "Border management"
- "Fight against cross border crime and terrorism"
- "Natural Hazards and Technological Accidents"

If you have an innovative solution for emergency responders which closes the IFAFRI and MEDEA Capability Gaps, and would like to showcase it in Athens, please apply with your solution here.
The 12 selected companies will get the opportunity to present their innovative solutions during a session on 31 October 2023. All Europe based companies working on innovative products or services in the field of first responders and security practitioner’s operations can apply. The solution to be presented should be either listed in the company’s solution catalogues with a confirmed product availability date or offered commercially.
