IFAFRI is a global collaboration between countries focused on enhancing and expanding the development of affordable technology and innovative solutions to improve first responder safety, efficiency and effectiveness.
INTERSCHUTZ, which was scheduled for June 2020, will be postponed by one year. This is the mutual decision of the organisers and partners of the world's leading trade fair for fire and rescue services, civil protection, safety and security. The reason is the current sanitary emergency, which directly affects both exhibitors and visitors of INTERSCHUTZ and requires them to be available for duty at other locations.
INTERSCHUTZ will now take place from 14 to 19 June 2021 in Hannover.

The purpose of this conference is to improve the health outcomes of people who are treated by first responders by preparing them for a wide array of situations so they can properly assess and manage all types of injuries and situations.

IFAFRI is publishing Capability Gaps to identify potential areas of R&D where there may be opportunity for industry and academia to develop innovative solutions to support the work of first responders. Further, it is intended to provide them with key data points that will inform their investment decision. Find out more in our Capability Gaps page.
